Role summary
Clinical Development Associate Medical Director will lead clinical trial strategy, design, and execution as the primary medical monitor. This role ensures safety oversight and scientific integrity while collaborating across cross-functional teams and regulatory functions.

What you'll be doing
- Develop study protocols, investigator brochures, and clinical development plans with cross-functional teams

- Prepare regulatory documents including IND submissions, safety reports, and responses to regulatory authorities
- Act as liaison between clinical development and internal departments on assigned trials
- Represent Vertex to external medical personnel on protocol development and study conduct
