Role summary
Waters seeks a Clinical Database Programmer to design, develop, and maintain clinical databases and manage data for clinical studies. - Proficiency with Veeva CDMS, Veeva EDC, or equivalent electronic data capture platforms
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, data management principles, and clinical data lifecycle
- Knowledge of FDA, ISO, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements for clinical research
- Understanding of relational database design and data modeling
What you'll be doing
- Lead end-to-end clinical database programming for assigned studies including design, build, testing, and maintenance
- Develop edit checks, derivations, form logic, and database functionality to support data quality and study objectives
- Create and validate data transfer specifications and external data integrations
- Develop reports, listings, and dashboards using SQL, SAS, or other reporting technologies
- Partner with study teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with protocol and regulatory expectations
