Role summary
Leica Biosystems seeks a Clinical Application Specialist to drive histopathology and digital pathology growth across Maharashtra and Goa. The role combines clinical expertise with sales execution, supporting laboratory customers through technical consultation, product demonstrations, and workflow optimization while meeting assigned revenue targets.

- 3–5 years experience in histopathology, immunohistochemistry, pathology applications, or diagnostic sales
- Knowledge of pathology workflows, antibody-based assays, immunohistochemistry, and cancer diagnostics
- Proficiency in customer-facing support, product demonstrations, troubleshooting, and CRM tools
- Ability to travel 60–80% within assigned territory and other geographies as needed
What you'll be doing
- Provide clinical application expertise through customer training, technical consultation, and scientific engagement with pathologists and laboratory professionals
- Execute product demonstrations, workshops, proof-of-principle activities, and customer education initiatives
- Identify, qualify, and convert sales opportunities while delivering assigned revenue targets and market share objectives
- Build and maintain sales funnel with accurate CRM tracking, activity reporting, and customer interaction documentation
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, channel partners, and application teams to resolve technical issues and support business decisions
