Role summary
Medtronic seeks an EP Mapping Specialist to provide clinical and technical support for cardiac ablation and electrophysiological mapping systems. The remote role involves training physicians and hospital staff, supporting sales objectives, and cultivating customer relationships across an assigned territory in the Sioux Falls region.
What they're looking for
- High school diploma plus 6 years cardiac mapping/navigation experience, OR Associate degree plus 4 years experience, OR Bachelor's degree plus 2 years experience
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance with acceptable driving record
- Ability to drive 25-50% within assigned territory; occasional overnight travel required
- Physical capability to stand, sit, walk 8 hours daily and operate computers
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical field with 4+ years cardiac field experience
- Preferred: Proven track record in technical training assignments
- Preferred: Experience in EP lab, catheter ablation, hospital/clinic, or medical device sales
What you'll be doing
- Provide clinical and technical training to physicians and staff on EP mapping systems and CAS products
- Educate hospital and office personnel on CAS product technical matters and related procedures
- Promote safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and support sales objectives within territory
- Develop customer relationships and identify sales opportunities in partnership with account and regional managers
- Serve as regional champion to train clinicians on mapping technology and represent Medtronic to physicians and support staff
