Role summary

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned healthcare systems in the Richmond, Norfolk, and Roanoke areas. Healthcare sales experience with knowledge of hospital operations, P&T committees, and reimbursement processes
Cardiology expertise including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes preferred
Understanding of CMS policies, Medicare processes, and payor systems

What you'll be doing

Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned with cardiovascular business strategy and institutional needs
Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts, engaging priority providers and healthcare systems
Build and maintain relationships with clinical opinion leaders, pharmacy directors, and finance decision-makers
Coordinate cross-functional field teams to drive product utilization, access, and pull-through initiatives
Monitor account performance, market dynamics, and provide field intelligence to corporate marketing and analytics teams
