Role summary

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager based in Orlando to develop and execute strategic plans for assigned healthcare accounts. 3+ years account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
Advanced degree (MPH, MBA, PharmD) and 7+ years healthcare sales experience preferred
Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, DRG, and reimbursement models
Understanding of CMS policies, Medicare, payor systems, and healthcare regulatory environment
Demonstrated ability to influence across matrix teams and resolve payor-related issues

What you'll be doing

Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business strategy and institutional needs
Engage key opinion leaders in cardiology, lipidology, pharmacy, and P&T committees to support product utilization
Monitor account performance and market dynamics; identify barriers and coordinate pull-through initiatives across field teams
Coordinate compliant programs, displays, and hospital initiatives with internal teams and customers
Provide field intelligence and recommendations to business analytics, brand, and market access teams
