Role summary

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager for the Minneapolis territory to drive strategic account performance and portfolio utilization across assigned healthcare systems. Doctorate degree plus 2 years sales/account management experience, or Master's degree plus 4 years, or Bachelor's degree plus 6 years
3+ years account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, and hospital reimbursement including DRG
Understanding of CMS policies, Medicare processes, and payor systems
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead across matrix teams in complex healthcare environments

What you'll be doing

Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business unit strategy and institutional needs
Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts, engaging priority providers through tailored, compliant approaches
Collaborate with field teams and medical science liaisons to coordinate pull-through initiatives and ensure product access
Build relationships with opinion leaders in cardiology, lipidology, pharmacy, and P&T committees within assigned health systems
Monitor account performance and market dynamics, providing field intelligence and recommendations to internal teams
