Role summary
Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager for Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Boynton Beach territories. The role involves developing and executing strategic account plans, building relationships with healthcare decision-makers, and driving utilization of cardiovascular products across health systems and hospitals.
What they're looking for
- Doctorate degree and 2+ years sales or account management experience
- Master's degree and 4+ years sales or account management experience
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years sales or account management experience
- 3+ years account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
- Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
- Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, and hospital reimbursement mechanisms
- Understanding of CMS policies, Medicare processes, and payor systems
What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business strategy and institutional needs
- Meet regularly with opinion leaders and decision-makers in cardiology, lipidology, pharmacy, and P&T committees
- Coordinate pull-through initiatives and access strategies across field teams and assigned accounts
- Ensure compliant delivery of MAC-approved data and messages to support product utilization
- Monitor account performance, market dynamics, and provide field intelligence to corporate teams
