Role summary

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager for the Dallas territory to develop and execute strategic account plans for key healthcare institutions. Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, DRG, and reimbursement mechanisms
Understanding of Medicare, CMS policies, and payor systems
Advanced degree such as MPH, MBA, or PharmD preferred with 7+ years healthcare sales experience

What you'll be doing

Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business strategy and institutional needs
Lead relationship-building with key opinion leaders including cardiologists, lipidologists, pharmacy directors, and P&T committee members
Coordinate pull-through initiatives across field teams to drive appropriate product utilization and market access
Monitor account performance, market dynamics, and identify barriers to access and implementation
Present MAC-approved data and ensure compliant delivery of all customer engagement activities
