Role summary
Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager for the Dayton, Ohio territory to develop and execute strategic account plans with health systems. The role involves managing complex relationships across internal teams and customer organizations to drive utilization of Amgen cardiovascular products and support portfolio performance.

- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years sales or account management experience
- Master's degree with 4+ years sales or account management experience
- Doctorate degree with 2+ years sales or account management experience
- 3+ years account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
- Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia and heart failure highly preferred
- Knowledge of hospital committee structure, P&T processes, and reimbursement systems
- Understanding of CMS policies and payor systems
What you'll be doing
- Assess business environment and develop strategic action plans for assigned cardiovascular accounts
- Engage key stakeholders including cardiologists, pharmacy directors, and P&T committees
- Lead implementation initiatives to ensure product availability across inpatient and ambulatory settings
- Coordinate pull-through strategies across field teams and monitor account performance
- Provide market intelligence and recommendations to business analytics and market access teams
