Role summary
Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned health systems in Alabama and Florida. The role involves building relationships with clinical and pharmacy decision-makers, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving utilization of cardiovascular products in complex healthcare environments.

- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years sales or account management experience
- Master's degree with 4+ years sales or related account management experience
- Doctorate degree with 2+ years sales or account management experience
- 3+ years account management or public payor experience strongly preferred
- Advanced degree (MPH, MBA, PharmD) with 7+ years healthcare sales experience
- Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes
- Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, and CMS policies
What you'll be doing
- Assess business environment and develop comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular strategy
- Engage key opinion leaders including cardiologists, pharmacists, and P&T committees as strategic partners
- Coordinate pull-through initiatives and access strategies across field teams and health system accounts
- Present MAC-approved data and ensure compliant delivery of cardiovascular product messaging
- Monitor account performance, market dynamics, and provide field intelligence to corporate teams
