Role summary
Aldevron, a Danaher life sciences company, seeks an experienced Business Development Manager for the DACH region to drive growth in cell and gene therapy markets. The role involves managing complex, multi-million dollar sales cycles, building executive relationships, and leading cross-functional teams in a fully remote position based in Germany.

- 7+ years client-facing sales experience in life sciences, preferably biopharma cell and gene therapy
- Proven track record closing high-value deals ($1M+)
- Bachelor's degree in scientific field; deep knowledge of molecular and cell biology
- Experience in CDMO/CMO sales supporting cell and gene therapies
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Fluency with complex biotherapeutic workflows (nucleic acids, gene editing, viral vectors, mRNA)
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within DACH region
What you'll be doing
- Achieve orders and performance targets while managing CRM pipeline data and forecasting
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to gain market share and penetrate existing accounts
- Manage full sales cycles from prospecting through close using consultative selling approach
- Cultivate executive-level client relationships and serve as trusted advisor on value proposition
- Mentor peers and champion continuous improvement using Danaher Business System tools
