Role summary
Medtronic seeks a Program Manager to lead Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation at its new Malaysia manufacturing facility. The role encompasses end-to-end program governance, cross-functional team coordination, budget management, and transition to steady-state operations while minimizing production disruption and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (biomedical, chemical, industrial, biotechnology, mechanical, or related field)
- Four or more years of relevant engineering experience
- Program or project management experience in medtech or pharma industry
- Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation experience, Critical Manufacturing preferred
- Medical device quality, manufacturing, and regulatory knowledge
- Product transfer experience between manufacturing sites
- BPCS and SAP system expertise
What you'll be doing
- Lead Manufacturing Execution System program governance, define objectives, success metrics, and escalation protocols
- Plan and monitor MES projects end-to-end across cross-functional teams from initiation through delivery
- Serve as liaison between project teams, site leadership, functional partners, and external vendors
- Manage program budgets, forecasts, vendor performance, and internal resource allocation
- Lead risk, issue, and change management activities to ensure adoption readiness and compliance
