Role summary
AstraZeneca seeks a Commercial IT Cybersecurity Business Information Security Officer to lead security strategy across SaaS platforms supporting commercial operations, including CRM, digital experience, analytics, and revenue systems. The role partners with the CISO office and business stakeholders to govern risk, strengthen controls, and enable secure commercial capabilities globally.
What they're looking for
- 10+ years information security experience with 5+ years leading a security function
- Commercial/Go-to-Market operations experience in regulated life sciences
- Hands-on experience securing Veeva CRM, Vault, OCE and/or Salesforce ecosystems
- Digital experience and marketing technology security expertise
- SaaS governance, identity/access management, and secure configuration knowledge
- Vendor and third-party risk management experience
- Experience with privacy regulations including GDPR and healthcare data handling
What you'll be doing
- Lead Commercial IT cybersecurity strategy and serve as primary liaison to business units worldwide
- Establish SaaS security governance across Veeva, Salesforce, Adobe, Tealium and connected platforms
- Drive vulnerability remediation, testing, and audit closure across SaaS tenants and web properties
- Develop and oversee incident response playbooks and business continuity activities for Commercial systems
- Lead and develop BISO team focused on risk management, remediation and SaaS-heavy security consulting
