Role summary
Repligen seeks a Bioprocessing Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth and market adoption of OPUS pre-packed chromatography columns across the Midwest and Southeast. The role combines technical expertise in downstream purification with commercial acumen to expand new business and penetrate key biopharmaceutical and CDMO accounts.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemical engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years bioprocessing sales, technical sales, applications support, or downstream manufacturing experience
- Strong knowledge of downstream purification processes and chromatography technologies
- Proven track record generating new sales opportunities and expanding existing accounts
- Demonstrated ability to uncover opportunities and close business deals independently
- Proficiency with Salesforce and prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Ability to travel domestically up to 65% with occasional international travel
What you'll be doing
- Drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets for OPUS chromatography column portfolios
- Build and maintain healthy pipeline through prospecting, customer engagement, and strategic account planning
- Partner with Business Account Managers to identify and develop opportunities across biopharmaceutical, CDMO, and biotech accounts
- Serve as technical expert supporting customers through process development, scale-up, and commercialization
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, and demonstrations to advance opportunities and strengthen relationships
