BS or MS in Bioinformatics, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or related field with 7+ years biotech/genomics experience
Strong technical knowledge of NGS applications and bioinformatic analysis tools
Experience with bioinformatic tools: BWA, GATK, IGV, UCSC, SAMtools, Picard, bedtools
Linux command line proficiency and experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with collaborative work ability

What you'll be doing

Provide expert technical support in pre- and post-sales discussions of NGS capabilities with customers
Design and support custom NGS panel designs to meet customer specifications
Provide bioinformatics support for NGS data analysis and customer troubleshooting
Support sales team in technical discussions, presentations, and customer meetings
Liaise between customers, sales, product management, R&D, and production teams
