Associate Scientific Director, Clinical Genetics at Biogen will lead genetics and pharmacogenomics strategies across clinical development programs in rare disease, from late-stage research through Phase III trials.   • 4+ years experience in human genetics, pharmacogenomics, or clinical genetic care in industry setting
  • Expert knowledge of human genetics, genomics, pharmacogenomics, and genetic testing platforms
  • Experience designing genetic testing strategies for clinical trials with vendor and technology selection
  • Understanding of ethical, regulatory, and variant interpretation frameworks for genetic data in clinical settings
  • Track record with human genetic data through protocol development, clinical trials, IRB submissions, or publications
  • Strong communication skills and experience in multidisciplinary, matrixed team environments

What you'll be doing

  • Lead clinical genetics and pharmacogenomics support for Phase I-III clinical trial programs across multiple therapeutic areas
  • Design and implement genetic testing strategies including technology selection, vendor procurement, and data interpretation frameworks
  • Advise on genetics objectives and patient identification approaches for clinical trial protocols
  • Interpret genetic findings in clinical context and translate insights into development strategy recommendations
  • Identify and lead reverse translational research opportunities to support target validation and trial design
