Role summary

IQVIA Discovery Sciences seeks an experienced stem cell scientist for a scientific leadership role developing advanced stem cell-derived models supporting drug discovery. PhD in stem cell biology, cell biology, pharmacology, or related discipline
Significant industry experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical research, or CRO environments
Extensive hands-on experience with human stem cell-derived models, including iPSC systems
Expertise developing and optimizing complex cellular assays in 2D and/or 3D formats
Demonstrated ability to lead scientific projects and influence project direction
Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with scientific colleagues and clients
Experience with disease modeling, phenotypic screening, or translational biology approaches

What you'll be doing

Lead stem cell-focused drug discovery projects from experimental design through data interpretation and client delivery
Develop, optimize and characterize human stem cell-derived models ensuring robustness, reproducibility and scientific relevance
Drive adoption of innovative New Approach Methodologies and advanced in vitro technologies across programs
Partner directly with clients to present data, provide scientific insights and build trusted relationships
Mentor colleagues and contribute to scientific proposals and capability development
