Role summary
Associate Manufacturing role supporting biopharmaceutical production at Amgen's Puerto Rico facility on a night shift basis. What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 6+ months manufacturing experience, or High school/GED with 2+ years manufacturing experience
- Life/Natural Science or Engineering educational background preferred
- Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
- Proficiency with equipment operation, assembly, and disassembly per established procedures
- Intermediate mathematics and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy including MS Office and email
- Strong documentation and written/oral communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
What you'll be doing
- Operate manufacturing equipment independently including bioreactors, autoclaves, and buffer preparation systems per established SOPs
- Monitor equipment, workspaces, and outputs to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards
- Record activities and verify data using electronic systems such as SAP, Symphony, and batch records
- Identify and escalate equipment or process deviations and support root-cause analyses
- Collaborate with peers, engineers, and leads to troubleshoot issues and maintain team-oriented workflow
