Role summary

This field-based role involves on-site installation, testing, and quality inspection of surgical lighting systems, booms, and video integration equipment across hospital operating rooms. The position requires full-time travel Monday through Friday.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid state driver's license and ability to operate vehicles safely
  • Physical capability to lift 50 pounds occasionally and climb ladders
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with interpersonal effectiveness

What you'll be doing

  • Install surgical light suspensions, booms, video integration systems, and ancillary equipment per specifications
  • Program, test, and inspect video integration systems and conduct functional quality checks prior to sign-off
  • Verify site readiness, perform equipment inventory, and escalate infrastructure issues to project teams
  • Document installation records, complete daily reports, and provide project updates to stakeholders
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and manage daily schedules to ensure timely project completion
