Merck seeks an experienced engineering leader to direct Veeva Platform engineering execution across its global enterprise ecosystem. 10+ years enterprise software delivery or platform engineering experience; 5+ years leading technical teams
Deep expertise in Veeva Vault across multiple domains (Quality, Clinical, Regulatory, Safety, Medical) and enterprise integrations
Strong experience with Veeva APIs, MuleSoft, event-driven architectures, and OAuth/secure authentication patterns
GxP regulatory compliance and validation knowledge in life sciences environments
Agile delivery management with demonstrated stakeholder influence across technical and business leaders
Veeva Vault Platform Administrator or Developer/Platform Developer certification (or equivalent hands-on experience)

What you'll be doing

Lead engineering execution and delivery across the Veeva Platform ecosystem with accountability for backlog commitments and roadmap alignment
Translate platform strategy into executable plans through partnership with Center of Efficiency and Center of Strategy leadership
Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams including integration engineers, configuration specialists, quality engineers, and AI engineers
Drive adoption of reusable engineering standards, integration patterns, and best practices across multiple Veeva Vault domains
Lead platform security initiatives including MFA enablement, authentication modernization, OAuth adoption, and technical debt remediation
