Role summary

Kymera Therapeutics seeks an Associate Director or Director of PBPK and Biopharmaceutics Modeling to lead and expand the company's physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling capabilities. The role involves applying translational PBPK/PBBM to support drug development for targeted protein degraders, partnering across functions on clinical and formulation strategies, and preparing regulatory submissions.

Deep knowledge of ADME/DMPK and biopharmaceutics principles
Demonstrated proficiency with GastroPlus software and ability to work independently
Proven capability building mechanistic absorption and whole-body PBPK models
Experience modeling poorly soluble, poorly permeable, and beyond-rule-of-five compounds
Strong translational skills translating preclinical data to human PK predictions

What you'll be doing

Lead development and growth of PBPK/PBBM workflows, standards, and software strategy
Apply translational modeling to predict human PK, oral bioavailability, and support first-in-human dose selection
Develop IVIVC and mechanistic dissolution models to support formulation optimization and bridging
Apply PBPK to clinical pharmacology questions including drug interactions, food effects, and special populations
Embed within cross-functional project teams providing real-time study design support and regulatory documentation
