Role summary
Baxter seeks an Associate Director of Operational Excellence to lead continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence at its Marion facility. This role combines strategic leadership, Lean transformation, and people development to drive productivity, quality, and compliance across operations.

- Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification desirable
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
- Detailed operational knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environments
What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute site operational excellence strategy aligned with global business priorities
- Lead enterprise-wide Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain
- Champion manufacturing excellence standards including Standard Work, Visual Management, TPM, and Value Stream Mapping
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and governance routines to monitor operational performance and project execution
- Build and mentor high-performing operational excellence teams while fostering inclusive, accountability-driven culture
