Role summary
AbbVie seeks an Associate Director to lead a regional Field Reimbursement Manager team supporting oncology portfolio access and reimbursement. The role requires translating corporate strategy into field execution while building, coaching, and managing a high-performing team across multiple states.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree; health sciences, pharmacy, business, or healthcare administration preferred
- Minimum 5 years in field reimbursement, market access, payer support, or oncology field roles
- Minimum 3 years leading or managing field-based teams preferred
- Oncology/hematology experience strongly preferred, including physician-administered therapies and specialty pharmacy
- Deep knowledge of coverage, coding, billing, prior authorization, appeals, and payer policy
- Ability to lead through ambiguity, build team capability, and manage change in regulated environments
What you'll be doing
- Lead, hire, onboard, and develop a regional oncology Field Reimbursement Manager team
- Set field execution expectations for customer engagement, compliance, account prioritization, and performance
- Coach and support FRMs on HCP education regarding coverage, coding, reimbursement, and affordability programs
- Translate oncology portfolio strategy and launch priorities into regional execution and account education plans
- Monitor team activity, compliance, and performance through analytics and business reviews; escalate field insights
