Role summary

This role leads complex engineering programs that transition medical device products and manufacturing technologies from development to commercial production. The Associate Director manages end-to-end industrialization efforts, coordinates cross-functional teams, and ensures manufacturing readiness while maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and compliance objectives.

  • 10+ years of engineering, manufacturing, or industrialization experience

  • Experience managing project lifecycle from concept through commercial production
  • Proficiency with project governance, stage-gate processes, and risk management
  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred

What you'll be doing

  • Lead industrialization projects end-to-end from concept through design transfer, procurement, qualification, and operational handoff
  • Serve as primary accountability point for project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance objectives
  • Coordinate engineering resources and align functional leaders across process, equipment, manufacturing, and launch teams
  • Ensure manufacturing sites achieve readiness for new product launches and capital equipment deployments
  • Develop project charters, risk management plans, budgets, timelines, and communication strategies for assigned programs
