Role summary
Associate Director leading AbbVie's commercial data and analytics procurement strategy. Oversees category management for pharma-specific data sources including sales, claims, and prescriber analytics. Reports to Commercial Procurement leadership and drives vendor relationships, sourcing initiatives, and cross-functional alignment.

- Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, supply chain, or related field; master's preferred
- Minimum 10 years' procurement, supply chain, or category management experience in pharma/healthcare
- Expertise managing supplier relationships and conducting business reviews for data/analytics solutions
- Deep knowledge of pharma data types: sales tracking, claims, prescriber, patient, and promotional analytics
- Understanding of pharma industry dynamics, compliance standards, and regulatory constraints for data
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; data analysis tools experience preferred
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder consensus-building abilities
What you'll be doing
- Lead category management team developing procurement strategies for commercial data and analytics services
- Build long-range sourcing strategies for sales data, claims data, prescriber analytics, and market research datasets
- Identify and implement improvements to data quality, access protocols, and analytics workflows across business units
- Lead supplier segmentation, performance management, and business reviews aligned with category KPIs
- Manage end-to-end sourcing events and contract negotiations for data and analytics vendors with legal and compliance support
