Role summary

Merck seeks an Associate Director to develop data-driven insights for US oncology commercial strategies within the Digital Human Health team. Hands-on experience with healthcare data sources including EMR/EHR and claims databases (e.g., IQVIA APLD)
Knowledge of AI/agentic AI applications in regulated healthcare environments and data privacy
Oncology domain knowledge preferred; MBA, MS, or PhD a plus

What you'll be doing

Translate business priorities into analytical plans and communicate advanced analytics findings to senior stakeholders
Analyze data across disparate sources to develop insights informing commercial strategies and brand positioning
Lead and mentor on-shore and off-shore data scientists and business analysts on best practices and methodologies
Identify and drive innovative experiments to test ideas and measure business process improvements
Stay current with analytical trends and explore applications of generative AI to enhance organizational capabilities
