Role summary

Johnson & Johnson seeks an Associate Clinical Consultant for its cardiovascular business in the San Francisco East Bay Area. The role involves field-based technical sales and clinical support for Impella® heart recovery devices, requiring engagement with interventional cardiologists, surgeons, and hospital staff across multiple California locations.

What they're looking for

2+ years clinical experience as RN, NP, PA, or registered technician in ICU, CVICU, cath lab, or cardiovascular OR
2+ years commercial sales experience with cardiovascular products and technologies
Ability to advance sales process with customers and work effectively in team environment
Experience delivering product demonstrations and successful clinical trainings
Availability for emergent call coverage and 50% territory travel
RN license strongly preferred; hands-on Impella support experience strongly preferred

What you'll be doing

Educate physicians and hospital staff through clinical demonstrations and ongoing training for new and existing accounts
Attend implant procedures and consult with interventional cardiologists and surgeons on appropriate device use and patient selection
Collect clinically relevant outcome data, complete reviews with customers, and share activities with sales and clinical teams
Develop and deliver comprehensive product knowledge and demonstrate applications of Impella device portfolio
Organize and host physician engagement programs including one-on-one meetings and staff dinner events
