Role summary
Area Business Manager position leading Pfizer's rare cardiac disease sales strategy across Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Responsible for supervising 8-9 field representatives, developing business plans, and driving revenue for Vyndamax through strategic customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration.

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
- 10+ years specialty pharmaceutical commercial experience including sales leadership
- 3+ years successful district, area, or regional manager experience preferred
- Rare disease and/or specialty cardiovascular experience strongly preferred
- Product launch and hospital sales experience preferred
- Strategic thinking and flawless execution capability with business planning skills
- Collaborative leadership and internal stakeholder management expertise
What you'll be doing
- Supervise and develop 8-9 Senior Health & Science Specialists through hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Develop and execute area business plans aligned to national objectives with defined KPIs and forecasts
- Partner with brand marketing to shape customer strategies, inform planning efforts, and identify solutions
- Lead field activities including in-field observation, coaching, and compliance oversight of promotional communications
- Monitor business performance, analyze market trends, and implement processes to accelerate results across assigned geography
