Role summary

What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related discipline
- 12+ years of electrical hardware design experience for complex electromechanical products
- Expertise in product certification standards: CE marking, IEC 61326-2-6, IEC 61000-3-x, 60601-1-2, IEC 61010-1, FCC Part 15
- Proficiency with Cadence, Xpedition, or Altium design tools including schematic and PCB layout
- Experience designing analog, digital, mixed-signal, power electronics, and data-acquisition hardware
- Strong knowledge of FMEA, reliability engineering, signal integrity, EMI/EMC compliance, and hardware verification
What you'll be doing
- Define and integrate electrical hardware architecture across connectivity, compute, user interface, thermal, and optical domains
- Conduct trade-off analyses for component selection involving performance, cost, power, size, and reliability factors
- Establish critical-to-quality and critical-to-function parameters and validate performance against specifications
- Evaluate emerging technologies and improve subsystem robustness, reliability, and performance through technical roadmaps
- Support diagnostic instruments across lifecycle including regulatory compliance, field issue resolution, yield improvement, and cost optimization
