Role summary
Intuitive Surgical seeks accounting interns to support financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives over a 10-12 week summer program. Interns will gain exposure to corporate accounting, SEC reporting, and internal controls while completing a capstone project.
What they're looking for
- Currently enrolled in and returning to accredited undergraduate accounting program
- Completed at least two years of undergraduate accounting coursework
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available
- Available for full-time work 40 hours per week, May or June start
What you'll be doing
- Support accounting close processes, reconciliations, and financial data analysis
- Assist with internal controls, compliance, and accounting governance activities
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives
- Identify trends and opportunities in accounting data and reporting outputs
- Lead and present a capstone project with recommendations to leadership
