Role summary
A 10-12 week internship in the Process Safety Center of Excellence supporting biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations across Merck facilities worldwide. Interns will assist with program implementation, data analysis, compliance activities, and development of process safety tools.

- Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, or related technical field
- Completed at least 2 years of college coursework
- Able to commit full-time for 10-12 weeks
- Strong critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills
- Ability to receive and implement direction
- Prior internship or work experience in EHS or pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing (preferred)

- Assist with implementation and improvement of Process Safety programs
- Support data analysis activities related to Process Safety initiatives
- Contribute to Process Safety activities at company facilities globally
- Help develop innovative tools to enhance Process Safety programs
