Role summary
12-week internship in the Non-Clinical Drug Safety division supporting drug development through data analysis and mechanistic toxicity assessment. Interns will work on preclinical safety evaluation and regulatory support projects within the Research and Development organization.
What they're looking for
- Currently enrolled in BS/BA in applied math, computer science, chemistry, physics, biomedical engineering, or related field
- Available for 10-12 weeks starting May 2027
- Proficiency in Python and data science libraries (pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn)
- Experience analyzing discrete, continuous, and time-series data types
- GPA 3.0 or higher preferred
- Familiarity with UI/dashboard frameworks (Streamlit, Dash, Plotly) preferred
- Knowledge of statistical learning and probabilistic modeling preferred
What you'll be doing
- Analyze preclinical toxicity data to support drug candidate safety assessment
- Develop data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
- Work on mechanistic understanding of drug-induced toxicity
- Support regulatory responses and drug registration activities
