Role summary
A 10-12 week summer internship in the Research and Development Division focusing on nonclinical drug safety and developmental/reproductive toxicology. Interns will work on projects evaluating drug safety, preclinical toxicity, and reproductive effects to support clinical development.

- Currently enrolled in BS/BA in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Toxicology, Pharmacology, Animal Sciences, or related field
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies
- Available for 10-12 weeks beginning May 2027
- Background in developmental, reproductive biology, cell biology, or toxicology preferred for DART track
What you'll be doing
- Evaluate lead compound candidates and preclinical toxicity of drug development candidates
- Assess effects of drugs and vaccines on mammalian reproduction and development
- Provide mechanistic understanding of drug-induced toxicity and human safety implications
- Explore methods to enhance developmental and reproductive toxicology testing
