Role summary
A 10-12 week paid internship in the Modeling & Informatics department within Research and Development, starting June 2027. Interns will conduct molecular modeling or cheminformatics research as part of drug discovery teams across multiple U.S. locations.
What they're looking for
- Pursuing BS/BA or Master's/Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, informatics, computer science, or applied mathematics
- Completed at least two years of BS/BA studies or one year of Master's/Ph.D. by position start
- Currently enrolled in academic program and continuing education for at least one semester after internship
- Available full-time for 10-12 weeks between June-August 2027
- Strong academic background demonstrating interest in drug discovery research
- Programming skills (preferred)
- GPA of 3.0 or higher (preferred)
What you'll be doing
- Participate in molecular modeling and/or cheminformatics research projects independently or within drug discovery teams
- Apply data, models, and methods to support hypothesis-driven drug discovery
- Learn and employ cheminformatics and molecular modeling approaches relevant to drug development
- Potentially contribute to scientific publications resulting from internship research
