Role summary
This 12-week internship with Merck's Global Supplier Management Group offers exposure to supplier development and performance management. Interns will work on process improvements, risk assessments, and supplier capability evaluations across pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing
- Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions for supplier issues
- Travel to supplier and company sites to resolve manufacturing, quality, and supply chain issues
- Assist in executing technical capability assessments for new and existing suppliers
- Support supplier risk mitigation planning and launch readiness activities
- Perform gap analysis between supplier and company specifications to prevent future deviations
