Role summary
This 10-12 week summer internship with Merck's Global Scientific Value Content team offers hands-on experience developing and communicating medical content for pharmaceutical products. - Basic understanding of biomedical sciences and ability to categorize scientific literature
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
What you'll be doing
- Author scientific content aligned with Value and Implementation plans under preceptor guidance
- Review Global Scientific Value Content materials for relevance, accuracy, and consistency with literature and company standards
- Coordinate with stakeholders in development, review, and approval of content deliverables
- Analyze clinical trial data and review scientific literature to support content development
- Engage with cross-functional teams to understand collaboration between functional areas in pharmaceutical industry
