Role summary
This is a three-year rotational finance program for recent MBA graduates entering Amgen's finance organization. Participants complete three 12-month rotations while providing financial analysis, budgeting support, and strategic insights to various departments.
What they're looking for
- Currently enrolled in final year of MBA program, graduating by summer 2027
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in current MBA program
- 18 years or older
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Three or more years of financial modeling experience (preferred)
- Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry background (preferred)
What you'll be doing
- Deliver financial analysis and strategic assessments to assigned finance departments
- Prepare budgets, long-range plans, investment analyses, and operational forecasts
- Support senior management with analytical insights on capital budgeting and pricing decisions
- Identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities within functional areas
- Develop benchmarks for evaluating efficiency, prioritization, and portfolio performance
